LINDEN HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH

.Linden Heights Baptist Church began as a mission of the First Baptist Church of Staunton in 1949. It was called Lee Hi Chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Duncan were sent out by First Church to help in organizing Sunday School, Training Union, and WMU. Rev. and Mrs. Don Meadows were also sent. At 10:00 on Sundays, Don preached at the Lee Hi Chapel, then rushed over to the Calvary Chapel, where he preached at the 11:00A.M. service .
On December 5, 1954, Lee Hi Chapel became Linden Heights Baptist Church, with 47 charter members. On May 15, 1955, the church moved from Betsy Bell Road to Linden Drive .Today membership in the church is 363 .
