MILLER MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH

Unfortunately, I do not know much about Miller Memorial Baptist Church. I do know that it was organized in 1918 and that it is located in Augusta County, on Route 42 north of Craigsville. I know that in 1933, it was on a field with Ikerfield. And I know that membership jumped fran 69 to 101 in 1954, and to 106 in 1956. But I'd like to know what pranpted these increases, especially since membership has stayed in the 20-40 range through most of the church's history.

I'd also like to know who the "Miller" was that the church I s name honors. And is Miller Memorial Baptist Church the church referred to in an Association annual as Augusta Springs Baptist Church?

Miller Memorial has consistently been one of the smallest churches in the Augusta Association. But I believe it deserves to be commended for consistently maintaining its place and continuing to be on mission in its setting.
