November 2 - 3 ... Sight and Sound Millennium Theater “Jesus”  Other Lancaster features include an Amish dinner after the play, a comfortable overnight stay, a backroads area tour and a seasonal browsing/shopping spree in Lancaster.

October 1 - 4 ...The Young at Heart Seniors of Laurel Hill Baptist Church invite you to join them for their bus trip to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter in the Cincinnati area.  Notice that the initial $100 deposit is due July 15; however, if interested it is suggested that you not wait too long to submit payment because half the bus is already reserved.  See the attached flyer for details.


December 1 ... A limited number of reserved tickets are available now for the 3:00 PM December 1 Christmas comes to Love, a Virginia Christmas Spectacular at Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg.  You’ll enjoy dazzling lights, beautiful costumes, precision dancing, and the singing of cherished songs of the season, featuring the 250-voice Thomas Road Worship Choir & Orchestra.  Your pre-paid $50/person reservation includes bus transportation, a bountiful meal at Lynchburg’s Golden Corral after the program and tips for meal and driver.  A Quick’s bus will leave from Linden Heights Baptist Church, 371 Linden Avenue, Staunton at 12:30 PM and from Willow Oak Shopping Center, Waynesboro, at 1:00 PM.  Make your check payable to ABAV and send to Charlie Downs at 109 Gloucester Court, Waynesboro, VA 22980.
